Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 30th 2026

At Printigma we respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Printigma store directory, create an account, write reviews or claim a store, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account details: username, first and last name, email address, password (stored encrypted) and account type (Customer or Business Owner);
  • Reviews you write, including your star rating and comments;
  • Stores you save to your account;
  • Store claim requests: your name, email address, phone number, message and the verification document you upload;
  • Listing details Business Owners add or edit, such as phone number, opening hours and services;
  • Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.

Information Collected Automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device type and operating system;
  • Pages visited, date and time of visits and the referring website;
  • Your approximate location, only if you allow your browser to share it, so we can show stores near you. It is used for that search and is not stored in your account.

We use cookies and similar technologies for some of this information. You can manage optional cookies through the cookie banner.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Show store listings and find stores near you;
  • Create and manage your account and send account emails such as verification and password reset;
  • Review store claims and verify that a Business Owner is authorised to manage a store;
  • Check reviews before publishing them and prevent fake or abusive content;
  • Respond to your questions and requests;
  • Keep the website secure and prevent fraud and spam;
  • Understand how the website is used and improve it;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Cookies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to improve functionality, understand website traffic, and provide a better user experience.

Cookies may be used for purposes such as:

  • Website functionality;
  • Analytics;
  • Performance monitoring;
  • Security;
  • Remembering user preferences.

You may be able to control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Some website features may not function properly if certain cookies are disabled.

Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device.

4. How We Share Information

Public information. Published reviews show your first name, last initial, rating and comments. Business Owner contact details are shown only where they are part of the store listing.

Service providers. We share information with providers that help us run the website, such as hosting, email delivery, spam and bot protection (Google reCAPTCHA), maps (Google Maps) and analytics. They may only use it to provide their services to us.

Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Printigma, our users or others.

Claim verification documents are never published and are only accessible to Printigma administrators.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction.

However, no method of transmitting or storing information electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Data Retention

We keep account information while your account is active. Reviews stay published until you or we remove them. Claim requests and verification documents are kept for as long as needed to review the claim and keep a record of who manages a store, and are deleted on request once they are no longer needed for that purpose. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security. You can ask us to delete your account and personal information at any time.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and applicable privacy laws, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.

These may include the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of personal information in certain circumstances;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
